Outdoor activities for kids on park

At John Fowler Holidays we love connecting families to the great outdoors and inspiring young guests to get away from their screens and back to nature. From hundreds of acres of ancient woodland in Cornwall, to rambling walks to the beach in Wales, we have it all! 

Here are some of our favourite nature-inspired outdoor activities that your kids can enjoy at our holiday parks.

Den building at St Ives:

Amongst the ancient woodland of St Ives our team of Stripeys are getting ready for a truly outdoorsy adventure with your little wildlings. There’s nothing more magical than building a den. From collecting the perfect sticks to decorating the final construction, there’s magic in every step. And there’s no excuse, this activity is for adults too, so everyone can get involved! Our den building activity is available during peak season and is a free activity.

Nature detectives:

Follow the clues to find out what wildlife calls the park home. Children can become true nature detectives, exploring the world of mini beasts, play bug bingo and create nature crafts. This activity is available at our big and lively parks; St Ives, Sandy Glade, Trelawne and South Bay Holiday Park.

Woodland Picnic:

Nothing says summer better than a picnic outside with loved ones. Your children can join our characters for a magical picnic on park. Bookable through the John Fowler Holidays app for £5 per child.
